Hi all, welcome to our andie.ca. Johan and Christine Andie, but of course Rex as well – that’s us. We currently reside in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. We’ve been together for a while now, but recently got married (August 20, 2005). We created this blog to let our friends and families know of what’s going on with us. Our friends often email us to update their lives, but because we are so busy nowadays, we often forget to write back. This way everybody can read our adventure in, rants about and updates to our lives.

I work for the University of Calgary as a Systems Analyst. My responsibilities are quite varied from VMware Virtual Infrastructure admin, Windows servers admin, to Linux servers admin. I am enjoying my work right now, learning lots of new stuff.

Christine received her second Bachelor’s degree in Education (June 9, 2006). She had received a full-time one year contract from Calgary Catholic School District. She was offered contracts from both Calgary Catholic and Calgary Board of Education, but she decided to follow her heart and signed with Calgary Catholic. She is currently teaching grade 1 at Our Lady of Fatima School; she loves it!

Rex, he’s a good boy! This 8 year-old Lab X Husky has been a part of our family since he was 11 weeks old. He’s a cutie. He can blink on command and can do other tricks as well, not just good looks!
