So this past Saturday, June 17,2006, my best friend Kia got married!!! It was the most beautiful and extravagant wedding ever!!! It was followed by wicked beats for the reception and dance by Gerald (aka DJ pUmP)!!! Johan and I are so happy for both Kia and Ken and their two beautiful boys!
In the journey of life, there are many people you meet. Many people come and many people go. But for those you love, you must hang on to and never let go. Never give up and always keep trying. This is what I have learned from this special day! Many people say they don’t believe in soulmates and 
I thought I didn’t either but seeing Kia and Ken together has made me think differently. You cannot choose who your soulmate is going to be and who you fall in love with. These are just the wonderous and miraculous works of God. On Saturday, I was lucky to be a part of this wonderful day as the Matron of Honor because not only did I see two people who belong together recite their love for each other, I was able to see Kia marry her best friend!!! (Pardon me, I mean best “boy” friend – otherwise she would have had to marry me!!!) hee hee….^_^ (Dammit!~~~ this should have been my speech!!!)
The wedding reminded me again of when Johan and I got married last summer. Now I truly think that we too are soulmates because I think that in life, God has a plan for each of us and therefore guides us in our paths as we meet people we are supposed to meet, fall in love with the person you’re supposed to love, and marry the one true person you are meant to marry ~ your soulmate ~ your best friend!!!
you don’t have to be able to say how you feel about a person in front of 300 people for that person to know how you feel. its how you are and the friend you are everyday that matters. and i know that and i know you know that. so thanks for being my best friend and if there was no johan and no ken and we were both gay then yeah you’re right, i probably would have married you. a million thanks again for everything you and johan did not only on saturday but for everything you guys did leading upto and after the wedding. and literally, if it wasn’t for you we wouldn’t be married (the signing!).
