Just a quick update, we recently looked around for a house in NW Calgary. We finally found one (it will need to be built though – ready in approx. 6-7 mo.) up in Panorama Hills and we pretty much bought it (99.9% – we’ll let you know next week if/when it reaches 100%). From what we saw (the show home out in Cochrane,
the floor plans and the blueprints), we really like it. It is a “spec” home, so we do not have a say on “designing” it – everything is already decided (that could be a good or a bad thing). They will start the build hopefully this coming Tuesday (putting a hole in the ground). I’m also planning to make a time-lapse picture (taken every week, except for the time when we are on holidays) of the development of the house, from a hole in the ground all the way to possession date. We’ll keep you up to date!
